How to pay.One invoice, paid from your own wallet.

Checkout is a crypto invoice hosted by NOWPayments. There is no card form. Packs start at $10, and the swapz land on your balance once the network confirms the transfer, usually within a few minutes.

The steps, in order.

They are the same whether you start from the pricing page or from the top-up panel in the studio.

  1. Choose a pack

Packs run from $10 to $1,000, and the larger ones add bonus swapz. Choosing one opens its order page, which asks you to sign in first.

  2. Check the order

The order page shows the pack, the swapz it grants and the total in US dollars. A promo code adds bonus swapz and never changes the price. If a coin cannot take a payment of this size today, the page names it here, before you leave.

  3. Continue to payment

The button raises an invoice for that total and takes you to its page on NOWPayments. Nothing is paid on faceswap.ing itself.

  4. Pick a coin and a network

On the invoice page you choose what to pay with. Stablecoins such as USDT and USDC exist on several networks, and each network is a separate choice there. Pick the one your wallet will send on.

  5. Send the amount

The invoice then shows an amount in that coin and an address. Send that amount to that address from your own wallet or exchange account, on the same network. Your wallet or exchange charges a network fee for the transfer, so check that what arrives after the fee is the invoice amount.

  6. The swapz reach your balance

NOWPayments tells us when the network has confirmed the transfer, and the swapz are added to your balance then, usually within a few minutes. You come back to a confirmation page that says either that the swapz are on your balance or that the payment is still confirming. You can close it either way.

Coins and networks.

You choose on the invoice page, not on ours.

The list on the invoice page belongs to NOWPayments and changes, so we do not reprint it. Before you leave the order page we check the smallest payment each of these accepts today: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Solana, USDC (Polygon), USDC (Solana), USDT (BNB Chain), USDT (Ethereum), USDT (Solana), USDT (Tron), and Monero.

Each coin has a smallest payment it accepts, and that minimum rises and falls with the fees of its network.

On a busy day a coin's minimum can sit above the $10 pack. The order page then lists the coins that will not take the payment, and you pick another coin or a larger pack. If none of the coins we check will take it, the payment button is disabled until you choose a larger pack.

When a payment is short, late or missing.

How long does the invoice stay open?

24 hours on our side. If you lose the tab, press the button on the order page again for the same pack and you are taken back to the same invoice. A second one is not raised. The order page also shows the open invoice with a button that returns to it. An invoice still unpaid after that is closed and shows as Failed in Billing. Nothing was charged, and the next press raises a new invoice. Once you pick a coin, the invoice page may give the transfer itself less time, so go by the time it shows.

What if I send less than the invoice?

You are credited for what arrived, at the pack's rate, without having to ask. The payment shows as Partly paid. If the rest reaches the same invoice, your balance is topped up to the full pack, once. If it never does, write to faceswaping@proton.me with the transaction id shown in Billing.

What if I send more?

You get the pack you ordered and no more. The swapz are counted from the order, never from the amount that arrived, so extra coin does not become extra swapz. If that happened, write to faceswaping@proton.me with the date and the amount of the payment.

When do the swapz arrive?

Once the network confirms the transfer, usually within a few minutes. Until then the payment shows as Pending in Billing, and the balance updates on its own.

Where do I see the payment afterwards?

Under Settings, on the Billing page. Each pack is a row with its date, what you paid, the swapz it added, its status and a link back to the invoice.

What if the swapz do not arrive?

Open Billing first. Pending means the network has not confirmed the transfer yet. If it still says Pending long after your wallet shows the transfer as confirmed, or it says Failed although you paid, write to faceswaping@proton.me with the transaction id shown there. A payment that lands on an invoice we already closed is still matched to your order when NOWPayments reports it.

If you have never paid this way.

What you need before the invoice. A bank card is not on the list.

A wallet or an exchange account
Anything that can send crypto to an address. The transfer goes from there to the address on the invoice.
A stablecoin balance
USDT and USDC are priced to follow the US dollar, so the amount on the invoice stays close to the price of the pack. Any other coin on the invoice page works too, and the amount is then quoted at that coin's rate.
Extra for the network fee
Every transfer pays a fee to the network it travels on. The network sets it, not us, and it differs a lot from one network to the next.

Two mistakes that lose money

The wrong network
The same coin on two networks is two different things. If the invoice names one network and your wallet sends on another, the transfer does not reach the invoice, and a transfer on a blockchain cannot be recalled. Check the network name in your wallet against the invoice before you confirm.
Less than the invoice
Exchanges often take their withdrawal fee out of the amount you type, so less arrives than you meant to send. A short payment is not lost here, you are credited for the part that arrived, but that is fewer swapz than the pack. Send the invoice amount plus the fee.

We do not recommend an exchange, a wallet or a way to buy crypto. What is open to you depends on where you live, and that part is yours to check.

Why there is no card form.

With no card form there is no card on file, so nothing here can renew and there is nothing to cancel. You buy a pack, and the invoice is paid once, by you, for an amount you saw before sending. We cannot charge you again later, because there is nothing to charge. The account needs an email address, and checkout never asks for a card number or a billing name.

Choose a pack.

Packs start at $10. Swapz you buy never expire.
