Why our clips are shorter.
We work in shorter clips for a reason. Over a long take a swapped face is more likely to slip at cuts, fast head turns, profile angles, occlusions and lighting changes, and on one long file a bad stretch means running and paying for the whole file again. Short clips can be checked and redone one at a time: split the footage, send up to 200 files in one swap, and preview one frame as a photo, at the price of one photo, before a video runs. A generation that fails is refunded in swapz. If you need one continuous 60-minute file, Akool takes it and we do not.
Where Akool is the better choice.
Long files, live swaps and a studio of other tools. Akool takes a video up to 60 minutes on its Business plan and 15 on Starter, and our longest file is 5 minutes at 1440p, shorter at higher resolutions. It swaps a face live on a stream, which we do not do at all. If you also want avatars, dubbing or translation under one subscription, Akool is one bill for all of it.
Where faceswap.ing is the better choice.
Paying per file, with no seat. There is no plan here: swapz are bought in packs from $10, never expire, and are spent per photo and per second of video, which the page states before you start. A failed generation is refunded. Akool's own pricing page lists "credits do not expire" on Enterprise alone. Results come back at full resolution with no watermark, one swap takes 200 files, and the API runs on the same balance at the same prices rather than from a higher tier.

On the day we read it, Trustpilot showed 421 reviews for Akool and no score: the profile was marked suspended for a breach of Trustpilot's guidelines, and Trustpilot notes that it removed fake reviews.
