How a swap is billed

When you start a swap, the quoted price is held from your team's balance. When the swap finishes, it is settled on what actually ran and the difference comes back.

A refund lands on your balance as purchased swapz, which never expire.

Failed generations

A generation that fails is refunded in full, automatically, when the swap settles. You do not need to ask.

If a finished generation never shows up, write to faceswaping@proton.me with a link to the swap and we refund it.

Deleting a swap

A swap cannot be cancelled once it has started. It runs to the end and settles there, and the settlement is what returns the difference.

Deleting a swap removes its photos, videos and generations and asks the inference provider to drop it. It settles first: the generations that had finished are charged, and the rest of the quote goes back to your balance.

Payments

Crypto payments are final. Once a transfer is on-chain, neither we nor NOWPayments can reverse it.

If you send less than the invoice asks, the payment still arrives. We add swapz in proportion to what arrived, at the pack's rate, without being asked. If the rest of the same invoice lands afterwards, the balance tops up to the full pack, once.

If a payment shows as paid and no swapz arrived, write to faceswaping@proton.me with the invoice id.

Expired generations

Generations are deleted 30 days after the swap finishes. A generation that expired before you downloaded it is not refunded. Download what you want to keep.

Anything else

For anything else, write to faceswaping@proton.me with a link to the swap or the invoice id, or post on faceswaping.featurebase.app. Whatever we agree on, the refund is in swapz.
